other option for radio & checkbox

Both checkbox and radio fields can now have an "other" option where user can type in their own answer.

To acheive this, in the question setup set the last option to _OTHER_
Note: This is case sensative and must be exact to work.

Horizontal options for radio and checkbox

Instead of having options undernear each other, you can now choose to show them horizontally in a row.

Simply set horizontal to "Yes" in question setup.

New Parameter for Custom Redirect URL

Instead of showing thank you message, you can choose a custom URL to go to when survey is completed.

New Parameter to choose if template CSS applies, or BF Survey CSS

Set Use BF Survey Pro CSS to "No" and the survey will get CSS styles from your site template. Note: you may need to add CSS style for progress bar.

New question type - Summation

Summation allows you to create weighted questions where user must distribute total across available answers.

The total at the bottom shows the amount left to distribute

 

The total field defines the total amount of points to distribute between answers.

New question type - Rating

Rating question allows you to score several options.

You can choose the total number of columns per question.

Total field defines how many columns, in this case 1-5. Unlike other questions where result is stored in DB field name, for rating questions each option is stored in it's own field with the format fieldnameNUMBER, for example option1 above will be stored in myrating1 field.

Remove "I prefer to respond anonymously:" when Show name input = No.

If you want to hide the anonymous question (above), simply set "Show Name Input" to No in the menu Parameters for your Survey.

All questions on one page view

Like BF Survey, BF Survey Pro now has a veiw where you can show all the questions on one page. Please note that conditional branching is disabled in this view.
