What is ABCD Answer Matrix?

ABCD Answer Matrix allows you to have a different result at the end of the quiz depending on the combination of answers given.
To use ABCD Answer Matrix, you must:
1. For each question in your Quiz category, use a single character in the score field for each option (instead of the usual numeric value). We recommend that you set mandatory to yes.


2. Setup one or more ABCD Answer Matrix for your quiz category.
3. In your BF Quiz menu item, set the “Use ABCD answer matrix” parameter to “Yes”.

 


Category is the quiz category that this ABCD Answer Matrix applies to.
Description is not shown on front end website, it is only used in administrator.

Exact Match will be checked first. If you enter an exact match, you can leave all the other conditions blank.
Condition below will match if answer sequence is CCBAB

 


Condition below will match is answer sequence is AAAAA

Condition below will match if answer sequence is AABBB or ABABB or BBAAB or BBABA etc.

Condition below will match if answer sequence is AABCC or CDABA or AABBD etc.The redirect URL field is the page that you will be redirect to if the conditions match.

The redirect URL field is the page that you will be redirect to if the conditions match.

Result text is what is shown when if the conditions match, and there is no redirect URL set.

You can also assign a default answer, which is used when answer sequence does not match any ABCD Answer Matrix for that category. Default does not need any conditions set, just a redirect url or result text will be sufficient. The first ABCD matrix created for each category will become default automatically, but you can change this to another if desired.
