We were recently tasked with developing a new brand voice for HandyBelles that focused on the company’s core values. Portraying what the business stood for in real life needed to be front and centre, so we set about building a brand that celebrated what was truly at the heart of the Handy belles ethos… helping people!
On initial review it was apparent the previous look and feel was a little outdated and somewhat impersonal, which wasn’t an accurate reflection of who the company was and what it was all about. Our mission was to highlight the company’s true personality through powerful messaging, slick photography and engaging videography.
Marketing material runs the risk of looking generic when using stock library images. With HandyBelles we wanted to capture the essence of their culture and the people that work at HandyBelles. Visuals that are a genuine representation of you and your staff will make a far more powerful connection with your potential customers. Even before a new lead has picked up the phone or filled out your enquiry form, warm inviting imagery of your team builds familiarity, character and brand trust.
Videography tells a story about the business. People can easily relate to authenticity and a good story, which can inspire them to feel connected to you and your brand. With Jodie, founder of HandyBelles, we were able to capture that personality and really let her warmth and character shine through.
The functionality of any new site needs to be considered from the outset, this helps us choose the most appropriate platform to build in. Before development commences, we always ask our clients "what’s your goal in the next 3 to 5 years?" This plays an important role in planning for future growth and development.
Jodie's first goal was to ensure potential and future clients were able to find information on how they work.
Of course the end-game for most of our clients is to generate leads and ultimately increase purchases of their product or service. When working with Jodie, we were able to take all her written content and collate what we believed would work best throughout the site.
Good navigation is also critical on both desktop and mobile screens. For HandyBelles, who have a large number of NDIS participants and Support Workers, it was vital that the information be easy to find and intuitive to navigate. Simple clicks to Services, Contact and other relevant information had to quickly and easily guide users to what they needed without any confusion.
The end result is a user experience that is both enjoyable and functional. It introduces the Handybelles team as the warm and caring family they are, and projects an image of professionalism that customers gravitate to.
We encourage you to tell your story and let others know all about you and your brand. A new or rebranded website can be daunting, but at the same time a great deal of fun! Tamlyn and her team will guide you through this process from start to finish, leaving you with an end product that you’ll be proud to call your own.
