Learn with Me
Practical creative training for people who want to feel more confident creating their own content.
These days, a lot of businesses create their own content in-house, from social posts and Canva graphics to short-form video, photography and day-to-day brand communication.
The tools are more accessible than ever, but that does not always make them easier to use.
You might be unsure where to begin, trying to improve what you already create, feeling behind or simply ready to build stronger skills. That is where these sessions come in.

What matters in the room
A supportive environment makes a big difference. Being open to learning, sharing and giving things a go can help shift people from hesitation into action.
I enjoy creating workshops that feel approachable, interactive and useful, where people are not afraid to ask questions and no one feels left behind.
Collaboration in an enjoyable environment matters. Embracing sharing and being open to learning encourages growth, not just for one person, but across a whole team.

Curiosity is often the first step before confidence
Why This Matters
Many businesses cannot outsource every piece of content, every design task or every video edit, nor should they have to.
Sometimes the biggest opportunity is building internal confidence so you or your team can create stronger content more consistently, with a clearer sense of direction and less second-guessing.
That might mean learning how to:
Take stronger photos on your phone
Use ChatGPT with more intention
Film more confidently on location
Tell stories in a more human and meaningful way
Understand how photography and design can work together
Create better graphics in Canva

Workshops and Training in Partnership
I’ve delivered workshops and training in partnership with organisations including Camden Council, Campbelltown City Council, Campbelltown Chamber, Whatso and Marsdens Law Group.
These sessions have supported a mix of business owners, teams and marketing departments, with training shaped around their goals, current skill level and the tools they already use.

Training for teams using the gear they already have
Many businesses and organisations have already invested in equipment for photography or video, but are not always getting the best out of it.
Sometimes the gear is there, but the confidence is not. Sometimes the team is unsure how to use what they have properly. Other times, they are still deciding what to buy and want clearer guidance before making a bigger investment.
I can help with both.
If your business or organisation already has gear, or is planning to invest more heavily in photography or video equipment, it is worth having a conversation first. The right setup depends on your goals, your environment, your team and the type of content you actually need to create.
The equipment matters, but knowing how to use it well is what makes the real difference.

Experience & Background
My knowledge has been shaped through a mix of hands-on work, formal learning and years of practical content creation.
This includes studying through AFTRS, operating a camera on a film project, completing many hours of online training and producing a wide range of interviews, branded content and visual projects for businesses and brands over the past seven years.
That mix of technical learning and real-world experience allows me to guide people not just on what looks good, but on what is realistic, useful and worth investing in for their needs.
